Lifestyle55+ MASTER
What Is a Lifestyle 55+ MASTER?
Canada’s Gold Standard for Senior Services training and support.
A Lifestyle55+ MASTER is not your average professional — they are part of an elite group of advocates who have undergone advanced, specialized training in working with aging adults and their families. These individuals represent the highest standard in ethical conduct, personalized service, and person-centered guidance for Canadians 55+, and those navigating real estate, care planning, transition decisions, navigation, financial, Executor assistance and more.
To become a Lifestyle55+ MASTER, professionals must:
- Complete the Lifestyle55+ Affiliate Program (prerequisite) PLUS the Lifestyle55+ MASTERS
- Undergo rigorous additional training
- Create a UVP (Unique Value Proposition), Accountability Promise, and MASTER Factor
- Commit to annual education, membership and ethical standards
MASTERS are trained not just in the fundamentals of aging transitions, but in delivering consistent, high-trust advocacy that supports families at many stages of aging covering several areas of professional services.
The MASTER Program Was Born from Necessity
The Lifestyle55+ MASTER designation wasn’t created as a marketing tool — it was borne from the need to do more and to be recognized as truly different.
Too many families facing aging transitions were met with generic services, one-size-fits-all advice, or professionals who simply didn’t understand the legal, emotional, and logistical realities of working with older adults. The 55+ market is not like any other — and it requires different content, different people, and different deliverables.
In 2013, the original seniors real estate course – The Accredited Senior Agent™ Program was advanced with the Accredited Senior Agent MASTER program developed by Chris Newell and Paul Cutajar, Co-Founder of Lifestyle55+ Network Inc. Their vision was clear: to create a highly elevated group of professionals who prioritized quality over quantity, substance over surface, and advocacy over sales.
The Lifestyle55+MASTER – seniors real estate, was positioned as a designation for those who weren’t satisfied with just being informed — they wanted to lead. These were professionals who understood that the stakes were higher when working with older adults, aging families, POAs, and estates.
“We saw committed professionals doing their best — but still falling short in recognition and in conveying their unique efforts. It was time to create a program to train, recognize and validate the value they could offer their senior clients.
The MASTERS was built to deliver more!” – Paul Cutajar, Co-Founder, Lifestyle55+ Network Inc.
Today, the program has evolved into the Lifestyle55+ MASTER designation, headed by Esther Goldstein and Paul Cutajar — Co-Founders of Lifestyle55+ Network Inc. Lifestyle55+ Network also delivers Canada’s largest unbiased digital marketplace for senior housing and senior services. MASTER members are not only leaders in seniors real estate, but also recognized advocates in care planning, transition consulting, downsizing, estate navigation, and aging-in-place services. The curriculum has grown, the standards have deepened, but the mission remains:
To elevate the professionals who choose to stand beside families during some of the most complex and meaningful moments of their lives as they age.

Being different in a sea of being the same
Let’s face it, we’ve all had dealings with a REALTOR, you probably have one in the family. They may say they have the experience, awards, staging and marketing plan but don’t they all? Paul Cutajar was in this position when asked “But what makes you so different than all the rest?” This harmless question was the impetus. The MASTER HAD TO BE DIFFERENT – not by offering more of the same but by focusing from the heart – to advocate and guide older adults – to go beyond the average – to work past the transaction and to establishing trust and empowerment for seniors.
A Lifestyle55+ MASTER:
- Works with each client as being unique and not just a transaction
- Applies learned techniques to better understand challenges – fears – goals – needs and wants
- Builds opportunity to ensure consistent and compassionate service
- Supports adult children, POA’s and Executors in making informed decisions
- Assists in sourcing 3rd party services as may be unique to the clients situation
What can a Lifestyle55+ MASTER help with?
Your MASTER has been trained in far more than just real estate and sales – they also bring knowledge of:
Proper Fit Housing Options:
Independent Living, assisted living, long-term care, life lease, age in place, ADU (accessory dwelling units), multi-generational, senior rentals, retirement homes, investment and more.
Levels Of Care:
As we age, health often becomes a challenge and families may be seeking a transition to age in place, memory care, respite, palliative or surviving spouse downsizing.
Multi-Generational Support:
Aging parents – grandchildren – boomerang kids – estates and investment
System Navigation:
Assisting families understand the costs, resources and private options PLUS access to a consulting program offered by SeniorCareAccess.com
Unique Assistance:
Some of the Lifestyle55+ MASTERS also offer additional knowledge to assist POA’s, Executors and Estate challenges. But they all serve to bridge the gap between legal, financial, housing and other specific needs.
Exclusivity and Accountability:
Lifestyle55+ MASTERs are part of a tight, invite-only community of advocates across Canada. This limited membership ensures:
Quality over quantity
Peer-to-peer learning and collaboration
Shared commitment to ethical and results-based support
Ongoing education and compliance with program policy
Every MASTER is required to craft a personal Accountability Promise — a signed commitment to deliver what they claim.
The MASTERS program is refined to a max of 10 registrants per year, ensuring the undiluted value of a Lifestyle55+ MASTER.
When Should you Contact a MASTER?
The simple answer? Now.
If you’re reading this, it means you’re already considering the importance of working with a trained advocate. Experience tells us: the earlier you engage a MASTER, the more options and control you retain. Waiting too long may limit those choices — or worse, leave decisions in someone else’s hands.
You may benefit from speaking with a Lifestyle55+ MASTER if you are:
Helping aging parents make decisions
Facing a crisis admission or urgent care need
Planning to downsize or move from the family home
Looking for non-biased, private-sector support
Feeling overwhelmed by too many options and not enough answers
- Looking to improve your quality of life
